    just wanna try out vista, wanna reformat my lxp aptop so i thought i mite as well try vista was wondering would it be impossible to go back to xp if i dont like vista, i made recovery discs when i first made my computer?

    Yes, you can. I did the same on my v5201 a while back just to try Vista on it. I had some sound card issues with it, so I went back to XP.....
