How can you make a claim of being vista ready when there are no soundcard drivers for x64? This is in refernce to dv8130 with VIsta RC2 x64, yes I tried lots of work arounds. my zv5160 was more vista compliant, granted it is x32, it had a sound issue as well but you could install the driver thru device manager.

Vista Ready means when Vista comes out, all drivers will be available. They're still in beta/rc stage, so it's not surprising they don't have all the drivers ready. From talking with HP reps in my area, they are definitely coding to support all hardware, but that takes time. They claim it will all be available by launch time.

Vista Ready means that the system is capable of using Vista, it never gurantees the availability of any drivers. Plus Vista is still in the beta stage and x64 adoption is still very low, so yeah it is to be expected that some companies might not have any drivers available for Vista.
