I got recovery disks from hp since my computer was having some issues. The recovery process using the disks went by fine and the computer loaded to the main desk top with a couple restarts and was installing the software with no issue. the most recent restart seemed to start off okay with the hp screen loading but now its going on over an hour on a black screen. I don't want to touch it in fear I may screw something up. Any help is appreciated.

Run the complete hard drive test in the BIOS. If it passes start the recovery process over.
