why HP cant just provide a clean system with lower price....

I really dont wanna buy another vista.

If I uninstall all the bloatware & use some widgets to adjust system, could the os be clean enough?...

    Thx

Do you have the install disk?

If so, your best option would be to reformat and reinstall Vista.

    :)

If not, some good manual cleaning should be good enough.

A lot of the bloatware either makes windows easier to use for noobs(less returns), or provides marketing income for HP(directly or indirectly).

The companies pay HP to add the bloatware it also brings down the price of the pc for the consumer. Since they are making some money by adding the bloatware

its easiy to delete it, dont run it, delete from registry, apps in control panel, use 3rd party software search digg.com for some cool apps to delete or clean pcs..

The companies that produce the programs you see in the bloat pay HP (or any major manufacturer) to have their programs preinstalled. This means you get a cheaper notebook, since third-party companies subsidize the costs of notebook production.

Absolutely. It's far easier to just reformat your computer and start fresh.

    ????????????????????????????

I'm still waiting for someone to try and install Vista using a retail disc with an OEM key. this worked perfect with XP, but is unknown if it works on Vista.

will YOU be our guinea pig? lol

This still won't equal a clean install.
