    Hey guys, I am posting this for my friend's dv1040us. his system freeze multiple times a day, basically EVERYTHING freezes except music and mouse movement.
    tried reformat with both SP2 and SP3, no luck. for example, it happened when he clicked on winamp to move the song forward... froze for 3 sec. direct quote: "it happens when it's gonna process more than it's currently processing." is there any program to test the stability of the ram or CPU? like prime95?
