    Okay guys

this is my second dv6040 in the last month.,

i'll make this simple and short.

so I go to start, turn off laptop, and watch it shut down. soi know its off

then during the night. I START hearing this noises beeping beeping, FANs at full speed. and more beeping and some alarm sounding crap.

so i open it up to see if it was on, NOTHING, caps lock light, num lock light flashing. i pressed power button.. nothing
the LCD had nothing, blank. but it wasnt' blank when it's one, just totally dark when u shut it off.

the first time this happend, the laptop didn't work with the battery, and hp battery checker said baTTERY needed replacing lol , a day after i bought it,

only way to get it to stop.. take battery out .. it's even happned with no battery and just the adapter plugged in.

    some crazy crap !!

i am starting to miss my dv4040 that never had any issues!

hmm, it could be a virus. run anti spyware and anti virus software to check.
