yesterday i was trying to use HDMI with my HDTV. it all worked as it should but then for some reason when i change the volume with the volume strip on top of the keyboard, the onscreen volume comes out but the volume bar does not go up and down as i change the volume up and down. the volume is actually changing but the display is not corresponding with the volume. i tested this problem further by just changing to other playback devices. when you go to playback devices in the sound settings in control panel, you usually see "independent headphones", "SPDIF" and "nvidia hdmi out". when i switch to the other devices as default, other then "speakers and headphones", such as "independent headphones" the same problem occurs. the display only works properly on the "speakers and headphones" device. can you guys try this out please? i just want to see if it's only my laptop that has this problem . i am thinking this is just a glitch in the quicktouch software.
