I ask because I did not see any deals that were insanely great... i ordered a decked out dv7tse a couple days ago with the $400 off coupon and have not seen anything better than this deal recently....

so I am just wondering what deals others have gotten on HP equipment within the last week or two...?

hope everyone had a stellar turkey day.

I picked up the HP G72 B66US from Staples. Usually $798 and I got it for $499.

back on topic - i should rename this thread to 'HP: Cyber Monday Fail.' What use is advertising the "biggest online store sales event of the year" when deals prior to it were better...?

I am a student and I really couldn't afford to go nuts, my current computer is a 400$ walmart laptop that is over 2.5 years old. I really needed a new computer so I got an extra thousand dollars with my student loan money this semester and that is all that I had to spend. I was very pleased with what I got for the money and it should get me through my schooling at least (3-4 years left)
