    Hi,
I would be interested in the settings you're using to lower the fan activity on your laptop, using Notebook Hardware Control?

I have an NC8430 and have the following settings on TZ0_:
FAN ON low Level: 55 C
FAN ON middle level: 66 C
FAN ON high level: 70 C
FAN ON max level: 83 C

    FAN low speed: 20%
    FAN middle speed: 45%
    FAN high speed: 62%
    FAN max speed: 100%

I managed to keep my laptop at 65C idle and while normal operations, and up to 72 C while working on the CPU.

I wonder if someone has a better configuraiton set to lower the fan activity.
    Steve

I don't know how well NHC control the fan speed in each step. But my RMClock keeps the normal temp lower than 52%. I am not comfortable with 70 C in any sense.
