    I got a hp 6575 at compaq usa and at the top of the comp it says dv6000
    but it has better then dv6000 stuff like the nvidia 8400m gt


    then it has a centrino duo sticker on the bottom but it says its a t7300 2.0ghz intel core 2 duo in the control panel system.

    so whats the deal?

    You have a 6575. It's just in the dv6000 series. This has been discussed before, you would have found it in a search.

    Just to let you know, the video card in the dv6575 is an Nvidia Geforce 8400m GS, not a GT.
