    i see some HP laptop like dv2811tx ,B1247TU,C792WU,DV6804AX
    Tx,Ax,Tu,WU, what they mean ? what the different between the DV 6800 and DV 6804Ax?

    DV6800 is the series, 6804Ax defines the specifics (processor, video, chipset, etc).

    The suffix tx, ax, tu, wu are reflective on the regions, stores, internal names for regions HP markets the model in. The model numbers you see in stores just differentiate between configurations. The dv6804ax as Hep! mentioned above is part of the dv6800 series which is a sub-model in the dv6500 series which is again another sub-series under the main dv6000 series.

    In the U.S where HP offers customizable models(CTO) they are usually referred by their series name as just the dv6000/dv6800/dv6500 etc.

    usually the last two letters "ax, tx, us, au" etc have to do with different regions/counties where the laptop is sold. there may be small hardware differences between a dv6500US and a dv6500AX
