    Hello everybody,

If I delete the quickplay partition, will the buttons work under windows? I don't see the need to use quickplay without booting up the machine.

I also checked the dv2000t reinstall guide and have these questions:

Are swsetup/QPW and HPQPDP used to create quickplay partitions? What if I don't install them?

    a happy dv2000t user

You can absolutely delete that partition. In fact, if you run the HP Vista Upgrade Utility (when it's finally posted) it will automatically delete that partition along with the recovery partition. It doesn't effect your Quickplay for Windows installation at all.

SwSetup/HPQPDP creates the partition. Don't install it if you don't want it. SwSetup/QPW is the Quickplay for Windows installation. Although they're called the same thing they're really two completely different programs. Install what you want. Skip what you don't.
