Was wondering if there is any newer video drivers available to download from laptopvideo2go website for my notebook. I am currently using 169.04.

The newest NVIDIA graphics driver that supports the GeForce 8400M GS without modding it is version 174.70, which I have personally found from the Microsoft Update Catalog. On LaptopVideo2Go, the drivers there are modded to support your card. If you want to use a modified driver, go to their GeForce driver forum located at http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showforum=88. From here, you should be able to find the latest version. I hope this answers your question.

    hmmm
i would say 177.41 are the latest, you will need to find a moded one that suit your card. no reason to stop at the 174.70 stop as far as i know.

Yes, I know version 177.41 is currently the newest. See, I tend to install the NVIDIA GeForce driver packages that already contain the GeForce 8400M GS in its original, unmodified entirety. I also want to keep the WHQL certification too. But yes, if you feel comfortable about using a modified driver, then by all means use 177.41 (which can be found at LaptopVideo2Go).
