what kind of ram do i need!

Hello, i have a compaq presario C500 laptop with the intel 440 m 1.86ghz processor,what type of ram do i need,and what is the max this laptop will take,thanks.

That link says that you are correct with that newegg ram

 

If you want information about your computer, go to HP.com. Pull up the support section and enter your model number to search for drivers and downloads. In this section will include a PDF file for the specifications for your model including what RAM it will take and how much. I would also recommend making sure your BIOS are up to date while you are there because some BIOS allow for higher RAM ceilings.

Thanks for the link,i used it to scan my laptop and i picked out a 2gig kit,man ram is so cheap i iam in shock...... ,this should give it a nice boost.
