I m going to return my computer, What should I do before I send it back?

I want to make sure none of my passwords are on the computer.
Is there something simple I can do to erase anything I put on it and
Or restore it to the way it was when it was shipped to me?

Juntinkw1 thank you, I knew it was something simple.

You should be able to restore your HP notebook to its factory settings by using the recovery partition on your hard drive (assuming that you did not delete it).

You can access the recovery manager before Windows starts, during boot. The manager has the capability to reset the hard drive back to the factory image located on the recovery partition. By completely reverting back to the factory image, it ensures that everything you had will be permanently deleted.

I find that the recovery partition will reset the original setting but your installed programs are still there but can't be access. The best way is to do a complete reinstall from the burned discs. This will return it to it's original state completely.
