i just got my dv7t last night,
and i downloaded the HWmonitor to monitor the temperatures.
right now i am not doing anything except downloading a large file (game)
and writting on this forum,
and the temperature for motherboard hits max of 75 and cpu max of 65..
and the fans are running pretty loud.
so is this normal?
i would like to know the general ideas of
safe temperatures for motherboard cpu and gpu for dv7t

oh yea , i set the hp coolsense to coolest mode and the temp dropped about 15, so temps are good now i guess..
but the fans are reallllly loud..wow
should i keep it coolest modee all the time, if there are chance of doing heavy dutyy work? -
You might want to look into a notebook cooler. They keep the notebook fans off for the most part and are not very obtrusive.

Performance mode browsing the web on the integrated GPU i get about 40-55c.

right now i have 40c on the CPU and 50c on the mobo. (running on the integrated GPU)
what's the proper, normal temperature ranger for motherboard, cpu, gpu?
