    when and why should a person update the chipset drivers

    i was just wondering when,why or if i should update my chipset drivers. i did just update the graphics drivers and they work great.

    IMO unless you are having some issues with the current driver or if the new driver fixes any important bugs/compatibility or if there is an improved performance benefits there is no point in upgrading the drivers.

    okay thanks.i did look at he hp site and they dont have any new chipset drivers for my notebook so i guess things are okay lol.
