    i'm ready to buy a dv9000t series laptop. but ive just read a couple of threads about new hps coming out. apparently... they'll be "awesome."

    where are these awesome things? when are they coming out? i really want a new laptop now.

    The new HP series you are referring to are the dv4t, dv5t, and dv7t series.

    Currently, they are scheduled for a July release.

    when finally will monteniva/ WImax platform notebooks come out?
    how more time waiting?
    there are rumours that in July new HP pavilion models will be available ( DV4, DV5, DV7), but again Centrinio 2 without wimax and without quad core????

    can anybody tell me? I dont understand .whom to beleive, where to find information about this? I was waiting from March and did not buy existing model.

    I am not sure on when Montevina and WiMAX will be available.

    Mobile quad cores wont go mainstream for a while. The only mobile quad core scheduled in Intels roadmap is an extreme edition which wont make it into the dv4/5/7 series. Maybe the HDX might get it. You will be waiting for a long time if you want quad based system. As for Wimax you might see it in the elitebook systems but I doubt it will be included in the consumer variants.
