    where to buy latch for second hard drive?

    Where can i buy the "latch" (or whatever it is called) to be used when installing a second hard drive on a dv9500?

    Tried googling it but since i dont know what its called i couldnt find it.

    Go onto my sig page and there is a link for HP's Genuine Part on HP site with the price. It comes with the HP's SATA HDD connector.

    Did you scroll to "bracket/guide" in keyword search window? I have just tried it and it shows the correct page with part you need. Straight link somehow does not work...that's why I needed to put previous page as a link. Sorry

    cheapest next to $70. When looking for these caddy's, pay attention to the listing. Many dont come with the sata dongle. Mine was $47 shipped.

    Use this search criteria:

    HP dv9000 SATA HARD DRIVE CADDY

    2-12 pop up every few days. Keep checking daily or send a message to the guy i listed above. He may be able to get you one. Its worth the effort for the price alone. goodluck!
