    hi there guys, i just purchased a dv2000t and i was looking at my shipping details from fedex only to notice that the laptop is been shipped from china. now i dont know if this is bad or good but for all you dv2000t owners out there, where was your lappy shipped from.

    They are likely all shipped from China.

    Yep, most laptops are either built in China or have parts made in China. Only few laptops are built anywhere else.

    Mine was built in China, then got sent to Alaska, and then to Indiana. I imagine that it should be in PA by now.

    Yea, pretty much everything is made in China, my laptop, ipod, etc

    o cool. so i guess i am safe then. mine was shipped to anchorage alaska then indiana and now it is at new jersey.
    i was a little worried 'cos my laptop was shipped late due to some parts they did not have and i thought HP was trying some switcharoo by getting some cheap one from china. i guess i am good then. can't wait to get my new toy on monday. :D

    im pretty sure mine missed cut off by 7 minutes. So I am getting it around tuesday I think/hope/pray.

    Mine came from China, too. I believe if it's a CTO notebook, it will most likely come from China. I got an SEC screen which sucks according to some users here, but it is sufficient for me and I can't afford to waste time and send it back and be without a computer.
