    which one???

    AMD 2.1 ghz(zm-80) + ATI Radeon 3450(256 mb)
    or
    intel 2.26 ghz(P8400) + Geforce 9600(512 mb)

1.I'm going to have mechanical 3d CAD software like CATIA and a little Photoshop work.
2.I'm going to use windows 64bit.
3.Ram is not important for me. because i will upgrade it to "more than 4gb".
4.price is important for me but not everything.

There's not going to be a noticeable performance difference unless you plan on doing huge (hundreds of parts) assemblies.

Consider that a lot of the engineering computer labs at my school have desktops with Radeon X1300 graphics cards and people use them for Pro Engineer/SolidWorks/Catia/etc. without problems.
