    It's sata 2 but a sata 3 hdd will work just fine.

    Momentus XT Solid State Hybrid Drive 750 is good. i boot in window in 28 sec. U get best of both world. Not quiet as fast as ssd. but faster then hd

    Thats amazing... 28seconds? My Crucial M4 256GB though not one of the fastest SDD it is one of the most reliable ones and it takes me about 18seconds to boot into windows 7 on my Envy15

    an overall % improvement can you say is the hybrid hdd compared to a mechanical hdd?

    how many sec did a mechanical hdd takes to boot into windows ?
