amazing how these bloody webcams can take away my happyness... got hp DV6450ec model, downloaded all drivers avaible on hp site including all system updates, webcam updates bla blaaaa, tried all of them and nothing!!

what i get is that my web cam is working after installing one or two of those drivers from hp but only for a few lets say minutes.. i tested my web cam through DORGEM, when i opened dorgem my web cam worked, than i closed it, than opened again - it worked, than closed, opened again and WOOW, what a surprise, IT WAS NOT WORKING!!! only a pink screen came up!!! this also happend when i tested through skype, same thing, opened - closed for two or three times and camera is gone!! again i had to reinstall drivers!!

i tried also acer crystal eye - result is the same!! i am giving up!! camera MUST work even if i open or close web cam aplication for 100 times no?

strange that on hp website there is no webcam driver included with my module, had to download from drivers issued for dv6000 modules!!

another thing is that i was running on XP before and i thought that xp is the problem so i put vista home premium 32bit but situation is the same!!

what i want is one driver that i will install and camera will work, not bloody updates on hp site!!

i think, not sure, that i have CHICONY web cam, dont know if i have to dismantle my laptop into pieces to know which type is there... i know its written in system manager in driver properties but if i install chicony driver there will be chicony, if i install other driver there is for example microsoft corporation and so on...... if anyone of you know what else can i try PLEASE POST IT
