    why cant i install xp on my hp?

    i cant install xp on my hp nx's sata hard drive...it says hard disk not found... :confused: ..whereas i can easily install and run vista..what should i do to run xp??i read a related article to it...will dat work?are there any other easier ways?

    i saw it before..but it was for dv series whereas my one is hp compaq nx series...

    the main reason for opening this thread is to know whether there r any other easier ways or not..and to know about the driver related problems on sata disks which vary by models..eg dv-nx

    Computers are computers. Read the stickies before you post next time.

    There's no easier way to install XP. If you can't handle slipstreaming SATA drivers, you shouldn't be installing XP in the first place. Find your drivers first, if you can't find them, then don't install XP.
