    will pc2700 2222mhz ddr ram work with the dv2000 series?

    just curious as thats the kind of ram in my current laptop..

    its 333 mhz not 2222mhz sorry.. and i searched crucial.com and it says dv2000t uses dd2.. i guess the ram i just bought will be returned..

    It says either 333 or 266 because it's DDR 2 DDR stands for double data rate 266MHz=2x PC 133. DDR2 is double double data rate...so while it only shows at 333 it will actually run at 667.

    uh you lost me.. and my question...
    ddr and ddr2 are different in that they have their slot hole on different locatins and different number of pins.. not to mention speed..
