    i've some problem with this laptop...i can't install win xp because it can't find hdd...i read your guide but in bios there isn't any sata switch....help me pls

    HP took out the SATA switch in an effort to prevent users from installing XP. You'll need to 'slipstream' the drivers and make an XP disc yourself from one you have.

    ok but the rpoblem is where i can find the right drivere? can u link to me so i can slipstream with nlite

    the chipset is an intel gm965

    Not too sure, but I think any search is going to need to start at www.intel.com. They ought to have some kind of chipset ID utility that will help you find the drivers.
