yeah so i like my dv9200z CTO with Vista Ultimate x64.....
Problem #1 (and no search helped) x64 WebCam driver.......
Problem #2 this is on both HP and Nvidia's shoulders, monitor is set at 59hz refresh rate.... now normally in xp you just go to the classic control panel for nvidia then to the refresh rate override (and i had xp pro on here for 3 days just to see the diff) perfect at the 60hz its MEANT to be at...... now in Vista NVIDIA has no classic menu PLUS they removed the refresh rate override.... so now I cannot play BF2142 or any other game that requires 60hz (forcing the APP itself does not work but when i had xp and added that rfresh rate it worked PERFECT)
Any ideads... links... i have been google'ing the last 3 days for ANY kind of answer that would help..... haven't found one yet.....
kk thx HP its not your MOBO, NVIDIA its not your GFX ITS THE DAMN SCREEN BIOS DEFAULT..... (sorry)

no one has any help or siguestions......... weird

sorry i must not have been specific enough...... the monitor does NOT recegnize at 60hz only 59hz meaning that the monitor bios itself was improperly tuned and when a driver is installed the max available is 59hz.
in xp you have to add it manually in the refresh override tab in the classic control panel (which is now GONE in vista) hence my problem... searching the web for this issue it brings up ALOT of ppl with this problem but no fix.... nVidia has lost my vote and i have used them since my old FX cards..... -
I am trying to run Linux on my HP dv9200 CTO. Anyone knows what is the webcam that is built-in to the notebook? The manufacture / model # of the webcam will be helpful, so I can try to locate the corresponding webcam driver for it.
TIA. -

Where are you guys getting dv9200 CTOs from? There's the 9000z, 9000t, 9500z, and 9500t.

BTW, I did tried to use HP's website, searched using part number: EZ345AV to no avail. I also asked the HP tech support, but at the end they said it is OEM, so the tech support can not provide that information.
Very disappointing that HP would not provide this information to their customer.
wow dv9200 cto HELP (if you can)
