    wrong printed symbol on keys

    hello everyone.......

    i bought a new HP 510 notebook ...... but there is a problem that the keys have mistake in printing and not just one key there are 2-3 keys which works rightly but the symbol on the key is printed wrong ......??????? :mad: :eek:

    what should i do even i like this machine very much

    sorry i didnt get it what are you trying to say ...... its pure misprint the key 2 have a symbol of 'at the rate' @ but it dont istead it has " this sign and same with case with two more keys ...... i hope i am clear in expressing my view

    What country did you purchase the computer from/in? It could be a non-US keyboard with different keys. I'm not sure how much it costs, or if you can get a replacement from HP for free, but laptop keyboards are very easy to replace.

    Seems like it's a simple defect that escaped QC. HP will replace this for free.

    the strange part is that even though he has a non US keyboard, it still types like a US keyboard. I guess thats something that could easily be customized though.
