FYI: I just picked up the HP XB3000 dock with wireless keyboard and mouse for $149 on CircuitCity.com (Sunday, 12/17/06). I have been watching the price on th xb3000 for some time, unable to take the plunge at $200. At $149, it's about the same price as the smaller QuickDock! I'll give a thorough review once I get it all set up with my new 9000t which should be arriving this week!

Nice! I've been watching this expansion dock as well since I'll be getting my dv9000t soon. I'll be eagerly awaiting your review.

It's not bad, though probably not worth the $200 I paid for it. Plays well with both XP and Vista and you gotta love an additional 6 USB ports. The AL speakers are clearly a vast improvement over the lappy's speakers and the bay for an additional HDD (proprietary) is a plus, assuming you can get it for a lot less than HP is selling it for.

What I wish they had done was to integrate some cooling fans into the dock's pad. Maybe in the next iteration...
