    xp and dv9500

    I follow the dv9500 thread but no where can I find a answer to network issues and ieee 1394 controller issues. This pavlion laptop says dv9000 on the frount and when it was running xp it said under hardware dv9500. Specs as it came where 1.5 intel dual core, 17 inch lcd, 2 meg ram, twin 120 gig drives. nvidia 8600 gs 256 meg video, built in web cam and sd card reader.

    I ve got everything working but the network and the dial up modem . Says it can't find inf files when it finds the modem even if I try reinstalling. Under hardware is say real tec wired is ok and the intel pro wireless is ok. Tried reinstalling drivers. Under network there is no wireless networks showing up.
    Also say they are discontected.
    Any help would be nice. Ps I ve tried reading through the xp 9500 thread and can't find any thing there to help.
