    http://teamtutorials.com/windows-tutorials/how-to-make-a-custom-windows-install-w-nlite
is a tutorial on how to use Nlite to do this, if you use nlite you can also use the driverpacks.net driver packs to add pretty much every driver known to man to your windows install so you'll have most of them right out of the box, there's a tutorial on how to use it here:
    http://users.telenet.be/jtdoom/basetute/Eng_tut6b.htm
It's kinda complicated until you work through it, but most of the programs are pretty self explanatory. also if you use the driver packs you may well have to burn XP to a DVD instead of CD because it makes it a lot bigger. You'll want to run nlite first to copy XP from the cd to the hard disk and make the changes you want, then do the driver packs and then rerun nlite to burn the CD/DVD. You can install just the SATA driver with nlite but you'll spend a long time gathering up all the other drivers, i like the driverpacks because they put most of it in one place aside from a few oddball hard to find drivers.
