    Hello!

I have an hp laptop dv6500 and the last two weeks after 15 minutes of use many yellow lines show up and sometimes after rebooting the screen is divided into six parts...has anyone had such a problem??

    Thanks!

It could be one of 2 things:
    1. Internal LCD/LCD Cable failure
    2. GPU/Motherboard failure.

Try connecting your laptop to an external monitor and see if you get the same problems. If you don't, then it's just the LCD screen on your laptop. If you do, then it's something much more serious (most likely the GPU is failing)
