I've had my zv5000z since october and, for the most part, i'm pleased with it. Last week, I got a pair of Shure e2cs and I've noticed terrible noises through the sound card whenever i've got the earphone's plugged in. It sounds like digital activity from the processor is bleeding into the soundcard, and being shot into my ears with my low impedance headphones.

If that weren't bad enough, I've noticed that recording sounds with the zv5000z results in terrible noise/interference coming through the microphone, wav mix and cd out ports. It makes the computer good only for playing through the built in speakers. And that drives me crazy.

I post to inquire whether anyone else has noticed this problem, or is it just a quirk with my notebook. If the latter, I might have to look into a warranty repair. Please let me know your thoughts.
