just incase HP doesnt update its GPU in the zv5000z, I will get the zd7000. I plan on using it at college and each dorm has directtv. I plan on watching tv through my notebook and playing xbox through my notebook using a tv tuner. i am very interested in the new SASER ONAIR HDTV Tuner, but I want to know if anybody knows what kind of FPS it gets. Most good XBOX games run at 60 FPS and being that the tvtuner is HD I would think that it would work with 60 but because of other usb tv tuners with only 30 fps, im a lil hesitant to drop $300 on the tuner. Seeing that HP is only offering an external tv tuner, i have decided not to get that. the website for the tv tuner that i plan to get is www.usbhdtv.com. also for anybody with a tv tuner, how is the 17inch brightview with it? i checked out brightview at a store recently and i really liked it. also does anybody know what kind of battery life it gets with the 12 cell battery?

Interesting. I found two threads about this tuner:

    Must... resist...

FWIW, my zv5000z plays the sample HDTV video perfectly, using 30-50% of the 3200+ CPU.
