    I used to have a zt3000 but i returned it because of the graphics. It sounds like hp put an underpowered graphics card int his one too =(

    maybe its just the base video card config though, one can only hope theyd include the geforce 6800.

    I believe this unit was indicated that it would be released on Nov 15th by a user here.

    The video card in the ZD8000 is an ATI X600 with upto 256MB of memory. That's not an underpowered graphics card. The ZT3000 is based on the Compaq X1000/HP Compaq NX7000 series notebooks and has an ATI 9200 GPU. The X1000/NX7000, I believe, was release in early/mid 2003, so the 9200 was a powerful GPU at the time. If you want to get a system with a powerful GPU, you'd have to buy it near its production release. Any later and the system will generally be based off of older technology (the GPU is pretty much the only thing that can't be upgraded without a systemboard change).
