My mom's laptop: hp zd8060us started getting many vertical lines on the lcd. I've searched google and found out that it's something wrong with the lcd or with the cable.

Should I buy a replacement screen? I've seen at on eBay but it only shows the inner lcd and not the frame and hinges? If i am to get those, how do I remove the old lcd from the frame to replace it. Or is the only replacement the ones that come with the frame and hinges already?

    thanks
