Hi, I have a ZD8290 which comes with an ati x600 graphics card. When i looked at ati's website for updated drivers it stated that they do not support drivers for laptops and that i should visit the manufactors website for these.

    Is this correct?

Sort of, they do support them, but through the vendor.

Well, only certain laptops can download the drivers directly from the ATI site. Yours cant unfortunately.

Go to DriverHeaven and download the latest ATI Mobility Catalyst 5.10 drivers - they will work on your system. I have them up and running on my laptop without issue.
