    ze2000 shipping

    I ordered a ze2000t from hpshopping on 6/12 and my estimated ship date is 6/23. A couple of days after that I ran the same configuration through and it said June 20. Is HP churning out the ze2000s fairly quickly, or is their initial estimate probably the best? Also, do they upload the FedEx tracking #s to the website fairly promptly?

    Also, do they build on Saturdays? I think a 6 day week is the norm in China.

    Last time I got a computer from HP it showed up before the shown ship date.

    BTW, I notice HP is also now shipping a ZE2000Z, with a Turion processor and Xpress 200 graphics. I think it's the same as the Lance Armstong one without the logos and donations...

    They are supposed to have AMD's in a lot of notebooks, soon! (like 10 or so)[ :D]

    Nope, the L2000 will be MUCH better..Just 2 examples of this in the current Turion64 offerings is that they ONLY come with 4200RPM harddrives & no widescreen option!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![V]

    The ZE 2000Z is not similar to the L2000(15" vs 14.1" widescreen). The equivalent to the L2000 is the Compaq V2000Z.

    The ZE2000z is equivalent to the ze2000 and the Compaq M2000/M20000z
