Hi!
I have Hp Pavilion ze2206ea laptop (sempron 2800+ and ati xpress 200m).
The integrated xpress 200m seems to be litle too slow...It uses UMA so I know it´s a little bit slower than deticated, but ~800points in 3dmark03 and ~3100points in 3dmark01se feels little low or are they ok?
In system properties it shows that xpress 200m uses pci? Should it be using pci express instead?
My previous laptop had a geforce4 go 420 and it was little faster (3dmark01se 4700points). So is there something wrong or is it so slow?

Accually for an IGP solution those are very good numbers. The intel IGP gets around 180 on the 3dmark tests. You should have around 450-500 with the 3dmark05.
At least for now no IGP can come close to the more powerfull dedicated cards but then unless your gaming alot its not that important. -
Yes the 3dmark03 points are okay, but why is it so slow in -01se? Memory is 166MHz(333MHz)..
But I´m interested how does it show in your system properties...does it work in normal pci or pci express?? -
I think the -01se is lower because hes running it on a sempron 2800.
I would also like to know how much RAM he has and how much is going to video?
P.S. Hey Krisse how is Finland?
my grandparents are from there. -
Thanx for asking, it´s quite nice here..summer is ending and autumn starting
I have a sempron (sonora 0,09nm,low power) 1.6GHz and 512Mb ram and from that 64Mb is shared for the gpu. Yes i know..i need more ram..
My previous laptop had a almost same cpu (1.6GHz,0,13nm dublin,dtr), 512Mb ram and geforce4 go 420(64bit memory).It beats the xpress 200m in -01se -
3DMark01 is CPU and RAM intensive, so that is pretty good numbers for a Sempron with an IGP GPU!
