    ze4610 power cord issues

    does anyone else have this laptop and have the power cord fall out easily? the first one i bought from circuit city would constantly fall out by slightly moving the laptop. they replaced it with another one that took a month to come in and while it doesnt fall out as easily it still does a lot easier than any other laptop i have used. one of my friends has a compaq 2100 ( i think ) almost everything about the laptop is the same besides the cosmetics of it. i used my powercord on his laptop and it would fit very tightly without having my problem. the same parts are used for his laptop and the sides and back of the laptop are completely identical, how come my plug slips out so much but his is fine ?

    sounds like you might have a problem on your laptop itself and not w/ the power supply since both have been too small and it works very well on the identical model w/ the compaq face on it. I'll call up HP and ask them.

    Right, the cord should be snug but not tight.
