    zv 5000 gone?

    as of rite now i checked hp.com...no more zv5000...is it true?

    Yep, 'tis true...it's been replaced by the ZV6000. However, you can find refurbished ZV5000's. I bought mine from Ecost.com. I suspect you'll start seeing more deals on ZV5000's and R3000's to make room for the new models.

    What does the zv6000 really have going for it vs. the zv5000? I mean, the CPU choices are newer and faster and the GPU is a new deal (128MB dedicated + up to 128MB shared), but many things seem to be the same. Plus the zv6000 speakers seem to be much worse.

    What was the pricing on the zv5000? Was it priced as bargain-basement as the zv6000? I am really surprised at how much you can get in the zv6000 for $1,000 or less even though this model is brand new and demand is so high. Makes me wonder why HP is allowing so many to be sold at prices that seem to be cheaper than necessary.
