    zv 6000 speakers...i need an answer please

    are they the harmon/kardon??If not, are they good?

    HP Customer service claims that they are still using the harman/kardon speakers, but most people don't think thatÂ’s the case. They don't sound as good as the speakers in the z5000 and they don't have the harman/kardon badge which leads me to believe me that they are not actually harman/kardon.

    The speakers don't sound bad, but even at max volume the sound isn't loud and they can distort. However, you should get some improvement with the updated drivers.

    To me there's simply no comparison. ZV5000 sounded twice as good and twice as loud. ZV6000 doesn't even come close. You should go test them at Circuit City.
