Hi all,
This is my first post here, and I'm hoping someone will be able to give me a solution to this problem.
I just recently got my zv5000 and I'm quite happy with it.
One problem I've recently run into was a graphic problem when trying to run games that have a lower res (like running 800x600 on the 1280x800 laptop screen) using the "Fixed Aspect Ratio" setting under the Geforce4 440 Go properties.
The graphics become scrambled.
Everything is fine when using "Display Adapter Scaling" and "Centered Output" but the display is then stretched or too small.
I think the graphic drivers version is 47.16.
Any help would be appreciated.

There is a MUCH newer nVidia driver on hp.com's support page. I'm not sure it'll fix the issues you listed but you should get it anyhow.

Ah k, Thnx Brian, I'm d/l it now.
If anyone else knows of this problem or has encountered it and knows a solution please let me know. Thnx
EDIT: Have downloaded and installed the latest drivers from the HP support site. Still have the problem with fixed aspect ratio.

I would call HP tech support and see what they say...

I have the same problem. I just decided to not use the fixed aspect ratio, so I don't really have a fix.

Yeh thing is I'm from Australia, but I've got the laptop from the US. I don't think the Aus HP support would help too much.
Neways, it seems if I'm going to play a game or such, in, for example, 800x600 resolution, then if I change the res on the desktop first, then go into the game then theres no problem (so far).
Might be a small problem I'll have to live with.
Again, any suggestions are welcomed.
Thnx for the replies
