    Hello again! :)

It seems everytime i want something, it's not available, in stock or released yet [ :(]

I live in Europe and would like to buy a HP zv5000z, too bad they are not available :(

Any ideas if it ever will be?

The only AMD 64 one i have found is a Fujitsu-Siemens with a SiS chipset.
Don't want any of that bad karma. [xx(]

It sucks that the only Pavilions available have some old Celerons or Pentium 4-M's.

Please cheer me up and tell me they will be available in Europe [ :)]

Do you think buying from the US would be an option?

    Thanks! [ :)][ :)]

I wouldn't buy from the US due to the fact that if you have problems you wont be able to get it serviced.

Check out Acer, its sells mostly in Europe:

They have some Athlon 64 processor, for example

Better find their offices in Europe, should not be a problem.

Also check Asus, they have a nice Athlon 64 model with a GeForce 5650 video chip (way, WAY better than the GeForce 440 Go in the zv5000z) that you can't buy here in America. You have many more options over there than we do here. Check the Acer Ferarri 3200 (which is available over here, just a bit tougher to find in stock) too. That Fujitsu is probably a nice notebook actually, unless you want a higher-res screen.

Thanks for your replys guys [ :)]

Unfortunately the Ferrari 3200 is way too expensive over here, about 2400 dollars.
Thats about 1000 more than the zv5000z! [:0]

I really don't need a good graphics card, this laptop will be my mobile digital audio workstation so only the processor/chipset matters.

I think i may have to look into buying a NX7010 with a Banias 1.7, the new NX7010 is also equipped with a 1.7 (Dothan) for 450 dollars more, so not worth it! [} :)]

I would like to get something even more powerful, for longevity...

    Thanks!

i don't know about price, but people in europe seem to like the LG and Samsung laptops, they aren't available here, so I can't really tell you much about them.
