This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    zv5000z with Brightview now available?

    On hpshopping.com under HP's notebooks on this page:

    it lists the zv5000z Display as:

    Optional 15.4" widescreen displays including high resolution and BrightView upgrade options

    But when you go to customize it, the option for Brightview is not there! WTF!

    I check it out and agree with you. That are probably in the process of updating their configurators to reflect the BrightView option. I would give it a few days, and I bet the option will become available. If not, maybe you could give HP a call.

    well if brightview is available, all i will be looking for is a 17inch and a DX9 compatable GPU.
