my notebook wont turn on correctly anymore.
when i press the Power On button, only the fans turn on, and they are real loud.
nothing on the screen, the blue light that tells you the hard drive is on, is not even flashing anymore.
i purchased the zv5160us at circuitcity 2 years ago, and my warranty expired.
where is the best place to get my notebook repaired for the lowest $$$?
i'm thinking of going here:
https://www.sparepartswarehouse.com/
any suggestions?

Does it work on an external screen?

tried it, nothing shows up.
like i said, only the fans turn on, not the hard drive or windows -
This seems to be a common problem for older notebooks. You'd better get professional help; to me it sounds like a motherboard issue and it may turn out cheaper to buy a new laptop.
Before anything else, try reseating the RAM modules, as those may not make proper contact. -
im thinking of using www.laptopsrepair.us
should i trust them?
