I just got a zv6000 last week, but I'm noticing that the speakers sometimes are blurry, even at low levels. I've tried countless times to update to speaker's driver, but there aren't any new updates. Any suggestions what I should do with this problem?
Thanks,

It may not be the software, it could be your hardware. You probably know this, but since you just got the laptop within the last week or so, you can probably exchange it for a new one. HP definitely lets you do this within 30 days, no questions asked (I don't know about other store policies...). At least then you are not starting out with something you're not happy with. Good luck.

Maybe you could be a little more specific about the "blurriness"? Like, is it always there, or when you play a certain song or game, etc. Check the volume control - see if everything is at default. If not, then ask hp tech support. They are pretty decent, and they should be able to help.
And HP is very good with their exchange/return policy. :hp: -
I thought Hp had good speakers or did they replace them I can't remember what I've been hearing. Is it true?

The speakers are the zv5000z are Harmon Kardon speakers, but from what I've heard, HP switched to generic speakers on the zv6000.
-
the zv6000, on some models have Harmon Kardon speakers (if im correct) but the newer zv6k's have Altec Lansings, which are really nice (are they the same on presario r4k's? i notice no sticker on those models)

I believe the speakers on the R4000 are JBL Speakers.

What I mean by "burriness" is that the music sounds distored, even when I play it at low to medium levels. I only play R&B and some Jazz, although for some weird reason, the speakers aren't burry when I play Rap

P.S.- I have Altec Lansing Speakers on my zv6000 -
Yeah they did use hamon kardon i checked at best buy. BTW would it be cheaper to buy from hp.com or best buy i can't figure it out.
-
BestBuy should be cheaper most of the time because they offer their own rebates along with HP's but you'll get a much better experience at HP.com because you can configure what you want (e.x. BestBuy configurations seem to have an obsession with 100 GB 4200 rpm drives).

Yeah it's over $1,000 and I don't need anything over say $750, I'll just have to wait.
