    I just bought one of these yesterday and have a question.
    Where is the second slot for the RAM?

    Unlike my ZE4000 which has both slots in the same place, I only saw one under the ram compartment[xx(]

    I did put one stick of 512 PC2700 in there and now I have 768 mb but would like to put another 512 in.

    From what I was reading the second slot is not user accessible. It is somewhere underneath all of that casing.

    Yes, sorry what I meant is it is not accessible, in the conventional sense. You can get to it to upgrade most likely, but it may not be as easy as on other models. Good luck if you upgrade the ram and let us know how it goes.

    Thanks Quikster, after looking at the specs again, I see that the ram can be upgraded to 1280 mb which means you must buy a 1024 mb module plus the "hidden" 256 mb module to get the max[ :(!]
