    Hi,

I bought a TP Yoga in last November. I received it on January 6. It's a 20C0, Touchscreen + Pen.

I have a lot of problem with the touchscreen. On January 13, the touch screen stopped working and I sent it for screen replacement.

After I received it, I saw on Febuary 11 that the touchscreen had 2 dead spot. I sent it again for screen replacement.

I receive it back on March 13. I tested the screen, it has a deadspot again. So another screen replacement.

And finally on March 18 a tech came to replace the screen on site. The new screen have... Two deadspot !!

You can see screenshot of my test and some photo of the screen bezel after 4 screen replacement here: Thinpad Yoga Touchscreen Problem - Imgur

So, I would really appreciate of other TP Yoga owner could test their touchscreen like I did and post screenshot if any issue.

I'm now asking Lenovo for a laptop replacement but would like to know it I am alone with this or if no one tested their screen.

    Thank you,

    mr_sarge

Sorry for your terrible experience. I just tested my laptop and have no dead spots. Have you tried installing all the update that is supposed to get rid of the dead spots? It was released long time ago. If you tried that already, then Lenovo should definitely replace your machine completely

I have applied the ipdate. But this is not the "black hole" problem others had. My pen work perfectly. Only the touch does not work in some area. Lenovo had the laptop in their hands 4 times. They did wipe and reinstall Windows the second and third time they got it.

    Thank you

Have you tried recalibrating the touch or resetting the calibration information?

Did you recalibrate with or without the Wacom driver?

I recalibrated whith a fresh factory recovery and after I've installed the Wacom driver. In both case I have the same problem.

I'm not sure if the wacom driver change something for the touch. Is it not only for the pen?

Oh god damn. Thank you for your post! Searched for people who had the same problems like i do... I first realized the issue when I used the onscreen keyboard. It was just weird that a letter couldnt be pressed... After that I decided to paint the complete screen in FreshPaint and detected the spots like you do! I send my Yoga to the support and got a new display which has the same problem again... So now I´m closed to like my money back. I dont like to be a beta tester for the yoga...

Here you can see the spots:

Any update on your device? I would also try to get a new device if you tell me you lost your problem. If not I like to have my money back!

    Thanks in advance :)
