[UK] Need a new battery..

In the past month or so my battery life has degraded quite a bit, i only get around 2 hours with the screen on the lowest brightness, compared to when i got it 4:30 hours with medium brightness.

I was hoping to get a 9 cell, but i don't really know where to buy from. None of the batteries on ebay are genuine, and the one lenovo sells is a bit pricey for me . Anyone know of a reliable website to buy from? I don't mind if its used or not, as long as it can last 5 hours.

You may have tried this, but one trick is to get it from the lenovo spare parts website.

e.g. 9-cell from lenovo accessories website: £122.79 incl. VAT
9-cell from lenovo spare parts website: £88.17 incl. VAT (panasonic: part no 92P1133; sanyo: part no 42T4511)

You have to add delivery to that. It's still pretty expensive, but it's a bit better. I'm not sure if that's the 9 cell that's compatible with your PC.

It's true, the spare parts shop is not that easy to find.

I've just noticed that they charge a staggering £15 for delivery for purchases under £100! So that's not much of a saving, unless you can combine it with something else.
